Module 2 - Histology (Dhatus)

The seven dhatus are explained in reference to the modern histology. We are aware that the study of the dhatus is a field that is too vast to cover entirely during five and a half days. Students can pursue their studies at home by reading the following reference works: Ashtanga Hridayam, Sushruta Samhita and Charaka Samhita. These texts must be read attentively and patiently, patiemment taking into account that the ways of teaching Ayurveda in the past were very different from today. In this module histology according to Ayurveda will be covered.
